  • Amsterdam Dance Event has revealed details to a new part of the conference: ADE Playground. Described as ADE's "third leg," the Playground is a collection of in-store performances, gear showcases, exhibitions and film screenings. Highlights include sets by Tiefschwarz and Maceo Plex at J.C. RAGS, product demonstrations by Pioneer, Native Instruments and Hercules, and screenings of films such as Paris/Berlin: 20 Years of Underground Techno, Charly Friedrich's Can U Feel It and the first three installments of our own Real Scenes series. Some of these events are free and open to the public, others require an ADE Card for entry (these are available online and onsite at ADE for €10). The events will be spread out at locations around the city—theaters, record shops, clothing stores, etc.—and centered around the ADE Festival Lounge at Stanislavski/Stadsschouwburg on Leidseplein. You can read more about it on the conference's official website.
