Chris Madak's two-track release features vocal appearances from Autre Ne Veut and Katherine Brady.
Bee Mask will release a new LP on Room40 in October called Vaporware / Scanops.
Bee Mask is Chris Madak, an American avant-garde artist who's been getting more international and cross-genre recognition as of late (earlier this month, he shared the bill with Donato Dozzy and others at the Labyrinth festival in Japan). As is often the case with members of the US experimental underground, Madak's discography is a rambling collection of cassettes, CD-Rs and split LPs, with around a dozen full-lengths released since 2006. Vaporware / Scanops will be his first appearance on Room40, the Australian experimental label run by the artist Lawrence English. It comprises two extended cuts of soaring ambience, with vocal appearances from Katherine Brady and like-minded artist Autre Ne Veut. The record will be released in a limited run of 500 copies, all packaged in a "matt celloglazed sleeve."
Room40 will release Vaporware / Scanops on October 6th, 2012.
