French blog Old School But Good School has organized a rave with the techno originators.
Frankie Bones and Underground Resistance's Mark Flash are set to headline P.U.R.E. in Paris on October 13th.
Organized by Stephane Menet of the blog Old School But Good School and veteran rave promoter Manu Casana, P.U.R.E (Pure Underground Rave Energy) celebrates the 20th anniversary both of the formation of Underground Resistance in Detroit and of New York rave mastermind Frankie Bones' early-'90s trip to France. As such, the event will have a distinctly old school bent—"full rave" decorations and lighting in an industrial locale are promised, compelte with a chill-out area care of the recently re-formed Troglodytes Party crew—albeit with modern touches like webcasting of the party and "the authorization and full support" of the mayor's office and culture minister. Joining Bones and Flash on the lineup are Soma Records duo Silicone Soul and French DJs Kristofo, Marst and Louca.
