  • Holy Other and Vatican Shadow will both play Fixed's party at Le Poisson Rouge in New York on Saturday, October 20th. Dominick Fernow, a prolific NYC-based noise artist perhaps best known as Prurient, is the mind behind Vatican Shadow. The project's militant, industrial-tinged techno has been issued through Fernow's own labels Hospital Productions and Bed of Nails, as well as Blackest Ever Black. Less is known about Holy Other, whose first record came out just two years ago. The Manchester producer's sound is a hazy leftfield blend of downtempo and R&B, as heard on Held, his well-received debut album released on Tri Angle a few months ago. Both Vatican Shadow and Holy Other will perform live at LPR, as will Austin multi-instrumentalist Orthy and New York local Autre Ne Veut. Support will come from Fixed residents JDH & Dave P.
