Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos and Boys Noize will all appear on the national tour in March.
The lineup for Future Music Festival 2013 has dropped, with a Cocoon Heroes stage being thrown into the mix.
Future Entertainment's flagship national event, which is now gearing up for its eighth year, generally marks the end of the Australian summer festival season and usually does so with a bang. Headlining the 2013 instalment, are iconic rave trio The Prodigy and vintage Manchester alt-rockers The Stone Roses. House and minimal techno fans will be pleased to see the Cocoon Heroes stage in operation, headed up by label boss Sven Vath. Minimal heavyweightsRichie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos are both confirmed as well, along with Magda and Seth Troxler.
Boys Noize will return to Australia for the tour, as will Fool's Gold boss A-Trak and UK indie troupe Bloc Party. Other acts on the bill include Toronto bass duo Zeds Dead and local post-punkers The Temper Trap.
The festival tour begins in Brisbane on March 2nd at Doomben Racecourse, followed by a stop at Perth's Arena Joondalup on March 3rd. The Sydney show is on the 9th in its usual spot, Randwick Racecourse, with Melbourne on the 10th at Flemington Racecourse and Adelaide on the 11th at Bonython Park.
