Tim Hecker, The Bug, JK Flesh and Hype Williams are also confirmed for the experimental-leaning event in Birmingham.
The 2012 Supersonic Festival will take this weekend at the Custard Factory Arts Complex in Birmingham.
Now in its 10th consecutive year, Supersonic Festival puts special emphasis on the weirder, more experimental side of things—or as they put it, "adventurous music." This year's lineup runs the gamut from noise veterans like Merzbow to current underground favorites like Hype Williams. Other highlights include Tim Hecker, Bohren Und Der Club Of Gor, Body / Head featuring Kim Gordon (of Sonic Youth), Jarboe (former member of Swans), Six Organs of Admittance and Justin Broadrick, who will perform as JK Flesh. The Bug will deliver some of the festival's few club-friendly sounds. In addition to the music, the program includes panel discussions and film screenings.
