- The West Coast duo have un understated electronic pop album due out in November.
US artists Ana Caravelle and Ryan York have teamed up for a collaborative album under the name Gold And Soil.
Both artists are multi-instrumentalists with past releases on LA's Non Projects label, who will release the album. York is a cellist and electronic artist who often appears solo under the name Asura. Caravelle sings and plays harp. Gold and Soil shows them combining their varied skill sets to create a gentle and vocal-driven style of electronic pop. The album will be their first release as a duo. You can hear one of the songs, "Alone," right here on SoundCloud, and another song called "Magenta and Ochre and Turquoise and Amber" (not included on the album) over on Non Projects' website.
