Hype Williams will play what looks to be a one-off date in North London's Tufnell Park Dome on November 24th.
The Hyperdub group, a duo whose members go by the pseudonyms Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, are known for confrontational live shows that are as much performance art as showcases for the heavy low-end of their recorded material: from masked dancers to a flexing bodybuilder to fog machines cranked up to 11, it's an act as visually strange as it is sonically visceral. Beyond the venue—the banquet hall known as the Dome above the Bostom Arms pub—and a 9:00 PM start time, details on this particular show are scarce. No other acts have been announced, and it does not appear tickets will be available in advance.
