- After recently announcing its new controller options, Serato has announced more details of their new software.
Serato has unveiled the user interface and further details of its new Serato DJ software.
The news follows on from the announcement earlier this month of the new Serato DJ system and accompanying Pioneer controller. Serato is describing the overhauled user interface as a being "totally re-designed," though some aspects of it (see above) will certainly be familiar to past Serato users. Tweaks to the virtual decks (BPM and time-related features are now directly on the deck), cue points and looping features, beatgrid editing and the general layout have all been implemented. Also included is a new interface for Serato DJ's iZotope-developed FX engine and new views modes. Full information and screen shots are available here.
