The Berlin techno luminary will DJ at Prince Charles this Saturday with AntonZap.
Moritz von Oswald will make a rare DJ appearance this Saturday in Berlin at Prince Charles.
The night will be the first edition of Another Earth, a party hosted by Esther Duijn that calls itself a "series of musical and interstellar escapism." The lineup for the first event certainly lives up to that description. Von Oswald's special knack for transportive sounds is born out by his many respected projects over the years, from his genre-shaping projects with Mark Ernestus (Basic Channel, Rhythm and Sound, Maurizio), to his contemporary work in the Moritz Von Oswald Trio.
The other artists on the bill have a knack for ethereal vibes as well. Russian DJ and producer AntonZap (whose label happens to be called Ethereal Sounds) has always paired his low-slung house grooves with wispy atmospheres. Tom Ellis is a regular at Freerotation, a boutique Welsh festival that's a hotbed for ultra-deep house and techno. Esther Duijn will play as well, along with local DJs Yannick Robyns, Jan Rudolph and Charly Delhom.
