  • TNGHT will play their first dates in the US and Canada in late November. The collaboration between Montreal's Lunice and Glasgow's Hudson Mohawke caused quite a stir when it was first announced, culminating in this year's self-titled EP released through Warp. The self-proclaimed purpose of the TNGHT project is to "[put] out tracks for rappers," and their music so far shows off a harder-hitting hip-hop sound than either producer's solo work, counting Kanye West and Danny Brown among its fans. To date the pair have only played a handful of gigs in the UK and Europe, and they'll make their North American debut at the end of November. First up is Toronto's Opera House on November 29th, where support will come from locals Badbadnotgood and Mymanhenri. On the 30th they'll hit The Music Hall of Williamsburg in NYC, with guests for that night still TBA.
