The Vancouver artist's upcoming album is called Import Culture: Respecanize PII.
Vincent Parker will release Import Culture: Respecanize PII on November 6th.
The Vancouver local is a staple in the city's experimental DIY synth music scene, producing and performing live with an expansive set of hardware equipment. His sound takes cues from both IDM and hip-hop, wedging heavily overdriven synths in with busy drum patterns. Late last year he self-released Respecanize, his first full-length, and almost a year to the day later he'll do the same with his second. Subtitled Respecanize PII, Import Culture is a sequel of sorts, featuring a very similar sound palette with slightly more emphasis on the percussive elements. The LP's release has been preceded by a free EP for "Glisten Fold." You can see a video trailer for the record below.
