- Steffen Bennemann and Philipp Matalla will play the first edition of the pitch-black dance party this Thursday.
This Thursday, Prince Charles will host the first edition of a new series called A Night and The City.
The party's concept stems from the idea that by eliminating one of the senses, you enhance all the others. In this case, the impact of sound will be heightened by the absence of light; the party will shroud its audience in total darkness by hanging a curtain around the dance floor, thereby allowing the music an exceptionally pure delivery ("what you hear is what you get"). The bill includes Leipzig-based DJ Steffen Bennemann of Nachdigital, Philipp Matalla of Internasjonal and local duo Statler and Waldorf.
