The UK techno mainstay will play shows in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne next month.
Ben Sims is booked to play three Australian shows this November.
The UK techno producer and DJ has been one of the genre's most prolific and celebrated artists for well over a decade, releasing a constant stream of records on labels like Theory, Ingoma and his own Hardgroove imprint since the late '90s. Despite his vast discography, Sims' debut full-length, Smoke & Mirrors, only surfaced last year on Swedish juggernaut Drumcode. Labelling himself as a DJ first and a producer second, he continues to play at some of Europe's most prestigious clubs and events.
Sims' return to Australia will be his first appearance in the country since 2005. His trip begins in Perth on November 16th, with The Likes of You hosting the show at Ambar. The next evening he plays a full four hour set at Sydney's Chinese Laundry, before appearing at Where?House alongside Mike Huckaby on November 18th as part of Melbourne Music Week.
