The minimal techno veteran will debut in Australia this November.
American DJ and producer Troy Pierce will make his Australian debut this November with a Sydney Harbour cruise.
Since the mid-'00s, Pierce has been involved in a number of different musical projects. His work on M_nus, alongside Richie Hawtin, cemented his name in the Berlin minimal techno scene both through his studio output and subsequent touring with the label. His solo work runs in tandem with his involvement in the Items & Things imprint which he recently revived with Magda and Marc Houle. Although Pierce has toured extensively, playing shows in around 40 different countries, this will be his first time visiting Australia.
After appearing at Eclipse Festival in Cairns on November 14th, Pierce will make his way down to Sydney on the 17th to play a harbour cruise presented by FACT. After the boat leaves the Man O'War Steps down by the Sydney Opera House at 5:00 PM, he will play an extended set with locals YokoO and Bella Sarris on support duties. His final Australian set will be at Where?House on November 23rd as part of Melbourne Music Week.
