The Frankfurt producer and DJ will play the Bay Area for the first time in November.
Gregor Tresher will make his first appearance in San Francisco on November 8th.
The Frankfurt artist is a techno veteran—formerly producing as Sniper Mode among other aliases—but in almost two decades of DJing he's never made it to the Bay Area. Vessel's Thursday night Base party will host his official debut in San Francisco, and as per custom for Base events he'll helm the decks for the entire night on his lonesome. Much of Tresher's recent music has been released through his own imprint Break New Soil as well as prominent techno labels like Ovum and Cocoon. Lately he's been playing around with a big-room tech house sound, a tendency that RA's Stephen Worthy described as "an ability to flavour his productions with zest and vigour, but still steer a path around the choppy water of cheese" in a review earlier this year.
In addition to the Vessel date, Tresher will play an Incognito party in LA on the 9th where he'll be supported by a number of local DJs. On the 10th he'll head to Canada for a show at Vancouver afterhours club Gorg-O-Mish which will wrap up his short North American trip.
Tickets for the SF date are available here and LA tickets can be purchased here.
