Tonight's party in London features David James (AKA Trus'me), Juniper, Locked Groove and Nick Dunton as Ever Vivid.
David James, AKA Trus'me, will headline another edition of 1 Red Light tonight at Plastic People.
1 Red Light is Trus'me's series of intimate techno parties—donning the name David James, the Prime Numbers boss uses these events to push a sound very different from the soulful house fare he's typically known for. Past editions have featured acts like DVS1, Ryan Elliott and Ben Klock. This one should be a just a tad less banging than usual, with Manchester deep house artist Juniper offsetting the steely sounds of Locked Groove. Atmospheric techno producer Nick Dunton will play live as Ever Vivid, his deeper alter ego. Tickets to the party are available here on RA.
Also coming up this week at Plastic People is a party by Mister Saturday Night, the duo behind some of New York's finest underground parties. Since Hurricane Sandy hit, the event has been renamed Benefit For Brooklyn, with all of the proceeds going toward relief efforts in Red Hook, one of Brooklyn's hardest-hit neighborhoods. Tickets to that one are also available here on RA.
Between now and the end of the month, Plastic People will also host performances by Laurel Halo, DJ Nature, Shackleton, Prins Thomas and more.
