The Chicago label will hold a showcase at Primary later this week.
Pittsburgh Track Authority will headline a Sovereign party in Chicago on November 8th.
The Argot label was founded by Little White Earbuds editor-in-chief Steve Mizek earlier this year. So far it has released EPs from Amir Alexander, Chicago resident Olin, and most recently, Pennsylvania-hailing collective Pittsburgh Track Authority. The latter group, whose Argot EP Giza came out in late October, will headline the party. Their DJing style usually encompasses classic house, jazz and R&B with a healthy dose of original material. On Thursday they're booked for an extended four-hour set. Mizek himself will provide the night's support.
