The Fourth Wave producer will join residents Hamish Cole, Hugh Bailey and Jonny Sleight at Wire Club in Leeds this Friday.
Gerry Read will guest at the latest edition of Butter Side Upthis Friday in Leeds.
Mixing up deep house with styles like hip-hop and broken beat, Butter Side Up pushes a gooey melding of sounds through the Funktion One soundsystem at their Wire Club. Following recent guests like Gerd Janson, Hunee and Soulphiction, they'll bring Read into the fold this weekend. Active since 2011, the 20-year-old English producer is by no means wet behind the ears: he's already put out EPs for esteemed labels like Delsin and has a full-length on the way for Ramp sublabel Fourth Wave. Promoters promise the sound Read is known for—"pulsing house with techno darkness"—plus the sort of jazz, disco and soul the party favors. Residents Hamish Cole, Hugh Bailey and Jonny Sleight will round out the bill.
Tickets to the night are available right here on RA.
