The Finnish producer will play two shows ahead of his Melbourne Music Week appearance.
Sasu Ripatti, AKA Vladislav Delay, will play three shows in Australia this month.
Currently residing in Berlin, Ripatti is a Finnish producer with a number of different styles under several aliases. Extremely prolific in the studio, Ripatti has explored vocal house as Luomo, techno as Uusitalo and minimal as Sistol. Vladislav Delay, he claims, is his most personal moniker, and has resulted in nearly a dozen full-lengths of experimental electronic music. His next album, Kuopio, is due later this month on Berlin label Raster-Noton.
Prior to his appearance at Where?House on November 21st as part of Melbourne Music Week, Ripatti will play two standalone live club shows, the first of which takes place in Sydney on the 16th. Shrug will present the show at The Civic Underground, where local producer Thomas William will play live and locals Simon Caldwell, Chris Honnery and Dave Stuart will DJ. The following night, Ripatti will appear on the bill at Melbourne's Liberty Social, which also features Sistrum boss Patrice Scott and Perlon artist Portable. Tickets to both the Sydney and Melbourne are available here on RA.
