  • Todd Terje will make his way back to Australia to play shows from November 29th. 2012 has been a big year for the Norwegian disco artist, highlighted by the January release of "Inspector Norse" which immediately became an underground dance hit. Following the success of "Snooze 4 Love" and "Ragysh" last year, which placed fourth and fifth respectively in RA's Top 50 tracks of 2011, Terje's reputation has shifted from prolific editor and remixer to fully fledged producer, after going half a decade without releasing an original track. He has, however, remained active in the realm of remixing, lending his personal touch to tracks by Lindstrøm, Hot Chip and Gary's Gang in the past few months. Returning to Australia for the first time since 2010, Terje will play a total of five shows from late this month. His tour kicks off in Sydney for Harbourlife on December 1st, which also features Mark Farina and 2ManyDJs, before he heads down to Sugar in Adelaide later that evening. The Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre in Perth is next up on the 2nd for Sets on the Beach, again with Farina, followed by an appearance at The Liberty Social in Melbourne on the 7th for a party hosted by Smalltown. His final show will be back in Sydney on December 8th for Adult Disco at Goodgod Small Club with the Future Classic DJs on support duties. Tickets to the Melbourne show can be purchased here on RA.
