The German duo will play shows either side of their Strawberry Fields appearance this month.
Kollektiv Turmstrasse will head back to Australia this month for club gigs in Perth and Sydney.
For around ten years the Hamburg duo have been releasing a broad spectrum of electronic music, from techno and minimal to downtempo and ambient, on labels like Diynamic, Baalsaal and Connaisseur. Their own Musik Gewinnt Freunde imprint recently clocked up its 20th release with a double 12-inch compiling remixes of two Kollektiv Turmstrasse tracks, "Lapacha" and "Ordinary", contributed by a number of the label's staple artists like Cosmic Cowboys and Alex Q. With Hilscher and Plagemann only making their debut in the country early last year, this will be the second time the pair will bring their live show to Australian shores.
Their first appearance will be at a Lucid Dreaming party in Perth on November 23rd. That one's taking place at The Honey Lounge from 7:00 PM, with locals James Francis and Aarin Fraser on support duties. The next day they're billed for Strawberry Fields in the Victorian bush, joining a three-day lineup that also features James Holden, Floating Points and Tycho. Their final show will be at Sydney's One22 on December 1st, where Kyson, Dave Stuart and MGF-released artist YokoO will also play. Tickets to the Sydney show can be purchased here on RA.
