The French artist will headline an apocalypse-themed party in December.
Joakim will play The Apocalypse Party in New York City on December 21st.
In case you're unfamiliar with the popular mythologizing, the end of the world may or may not come on December 21st, 2012 according to the Mayan Calendar—and of course, that means parties. NYC's Cameo Gallery will mark the occasion with a soirée featuring French artist Joakim. The producer and DJ, also the founder of the Tigersushi label, has an unpredictable DJing style that largely centers around jazz, disco and the lusher side of house. Joining him that night are fellow disco head Jacques Renault, an NYC local and Runaway member who runs the label and party Let's Play House.
