RA's annual polls for the top DJs and live acts of 2012 are now open.
Of all the polls we run each year, these two are arguably the most important, in part because they're decided by you, our readers. After reading our opinions all year long, this is your chance to have your say about which artists really did something remarkable in 2012. It doesn't matter if it was a sit-down concert, an all-night party or something in between—if they delivered an unforgettable set sometime between January 1st and now, we want to know about it.
The process is pretty straight forward: just click the link below and follow the instructions to vote for your top five artists in each category. Just a couple of things to bear in mind: in the interest of keeping the polls as fair and accurate as possible, voting is restricted to people who were RA members before today (November 20th). Also, you can only vote for artists that have appeared in your diary sometime in the past year (meaning you roll called for an event they played at). You'll have between now and Friday to vote (polls close at 11:59 PM GMT on Thursday). We'll have the results up not long after.
