- The 40Winks member has a new LP due out on Project Mooncircle this month.
Belgian producer Weedy will release a new album this month called Retrospect Suite.
Weedy is one half of 40Winks, a Belgian duo that makes instrumental hip-hop, often with a mellow and organic feel. He strikes a similar chord working on his own, making complex, syncopated rhythms out of mostly acoustic source material. Retrospect Suite will come out on Project: Mooncircle, a Berlin label that's released a few of 40Winks' records in the past. You can download a cut from the album, "The Blue," via the label's SoundCloud page.
