The monthly Fabriclive residency will celebrate the milestone on December 27th.
Playaz will mark its 150th party with a three-room takeover of fabric on December 27th.
Taking place on the last Friday of every month at fabric, Playaz has been an integral part of the London superclub's programming for over a decade. Originally founded by DJ Hype and Pascal, their residency has consistently featured the most prominent names in drum and bass. For the massive 150th blowout, they'll take over all three rooms of the club on a Thursday night.
Room One features a typical Playaz-style lineup with a few twists. Hype will headline with an extended two-hour set, with Pascal, Brazilian veteran DJ Marky, DJ Hazard and newer names like Sigma and Taxman are also billed in Room One. Room Two will host some names not often associated with drum and bass these days, such as dubstep pioneer Hatcha and prominent grime radio DJ Logan Sama. BBC jock Fabio and seminal Soho record shop founder Nicky Blackmarket will have a turn on the decks as well. The third room will have a slightly smoother sound, with Soul:R founder Marcus Intalex, Lynx and Shogun Audio family member Alix Perez.
Tickets for the party are available on RA.
