  • UK artist Daley Padley, AKA Hot Since 82, will make his way to Australia this weekend to play three shows, including the inaugural High Tide boat cruise in Sydney. While Padley has been making music under his own name since the mid-'00s, his Hot Since 82 moniker sprung up last year with the track "Let It Ride." With a number of remixes and tracks coming out this year on labels like Defected and Noir, Padley's next single release, "Forty Shorty", is due this month on Get Physical. His Sydney appearance will mark the first edition of High Tide, a party by the newly formed promotions group Mantra Collective. The cruise, which departs Aquarium Wharf at 12:00 PM on Saturday the 8th of December, will also feature Spanish jock Hal Incandenza and local Modular duo Softwar. Padley's tour also includes a visit to Melbourne on the 7th, where he joins a Darkbeat lineup that also includes UK mainstay Nick Warren and Spanish tech house producer Henry Saiz performing at Billboard The Venue. On Sunday the 9th, he pops down to Wollongong to play regular Sunday party Parkside at Hotel Illawarra, which kicks off at 6:00 PM. Tickets to High Tide are available here on RA.
