  • Details have been revealed for a new UK festival called Pleasure Principle, taking place over three days at the end of April. Pleasure Principle is put together by Numbers, the Glasgow label and party crew, and Dedbeat, a UK weekender that ran from 2001 to 2004. "The intention for Dedbeat was always to return in a new form, but with the same music standards," the festival's website explains. "For Numbers this is another stage in their evolution." The event will take place at Trevelgue Holiday Park in Cornwall, a "sprawling green valley" near the sea, where attendees can take advantage of onsite camping and caravans or stay in nearby hotels. Pleasure Principle's lineup mostly explores the deeper shades of house, techno and bass music: Joy Orbison, Levon Vincent, John Talabot, Omar-S, Move D, Floating Points and Robert Hood are among those booked so far. Glasgow stalwarts Rustie and Jackmaster are confirmed as well, along with Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, who will play together as TNGHT. Other highlights include Legowelt, Space Dimension Controller, Maurice Fulton, Blawan, Oneman and Ron Morelli of L.I.E.S.
