Boxed Sound launches with Jackmaster

- Boxed Sound will launch in Southampton on January 25th. The night marks the launch of a new party aimed at bringing "the best underground talent to Southampton." The event's current home is the Roxx installation space in Bedford Place, a multi-purpose arts venue with a Funktion One sound system. The first gig features a triple-headliner bill, starting with Numbers man Jackmaster. The recent feature star is known for his adventurous multi-genre DJ sets, though he recently showcased a slower mixing style on a free two-hour session. London-based house producer Midland and Mancunian artist Krystal Klear, known for his mix of boogie and classic house styles, are also featured, with the Boxed Sound residents on opening duty.
