The party's two-part celebration later this month will also feature Space Dimension Controller.
San Francisco party Icee Hot will mark its third birthday with two parties in late January.
The series was founded back in 2010 largely as a bass music outpost for the Bay Area, but has evolved over time to embrace house and techno, with headliners as varied as Hieroglyphic Being, Levon Vincent and Ikonika. The brand has also birthed a relatively new label, which has featured Ghosts On Tape and landokal" data-artist-news-link="true">Lando Kal, with a third release from Grown Folk forthcoming. Icee Hot's anniversary festivities will take place at recent home base Public Works on January 19th and 26th.
The first party will feature DC-based Dutchman and 3024 founder Martyn headlining, along with Montreal's Jacques Greene. The show on the 26th will bring together hardware-loving Northern Irishman Space Dimension Controller, Toronto house producer Basic Soul Unit and former Lazer Sword member Low Limit. The usual trio of residents, Ghosts on Tape, Rollie Fingers and XLR8R editor Shawn Reynaldo (who are also the Icee Hot founders) will open each evening as per usual.
