Manchester's meandyou. will play host to Ben UFO and Frak this month.
Started in 2008, meandyou. have brought the likes of DJ Qu, Kassem Mosse and Conforce out to their monthly events at the Soup Kitchen. Its residents, Smallville signee Juniper and man of the moment Joy Orbison, exemplify their music policy, which leans toward the deeper end of house and techno but keeps things notably wide-open. Their party this month features a pair of hotly tipped guests in Ben UFO and Frak. The former is certainly no stranger to the UK scene, between his Hessle Audio label, his famously wide-ranging DJ sets (that have often included Frak tracks of late) and a forthcoming Fabriclive compilation. The latter, a Swedish group known for their countless albums on the Börft label and more recently a run of EPs on Kontra-Musik, will be making their UK debut at the party. As Joy O and Juniper are otherwise occupied, meandyou. co-founder Andrew Lyster will round out the night.
