After their gig back in November was cancelled, the two Montreal artists are confirmed for a Rude party this weekend.
Akufen and Vincent Lemieux will headline an all-night party in Brooklyn this Saturday.
The party marks the fifth installment in Rude's Les Nuits de Montreal series, which (as the name implies) focuses on bringing to town Montreal-based talent. This one was originally planned to take place in early November, but like many other events around that time, it was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. Local support for Akufen and Lemieux will come from Eric Cloutier, a resident at The Bunker, which turned ten years old earlier this month (and was the subject of a recent RA oral history feature), and Rude resident Nola.
This edition of Les Nuits de Montreal will run from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM at a private loft space—RSVP via email to get location info. Tickets are available here on RA.
