  • Huxley will make his way to Australia and New Zealand this month for a six-date tour. The DJ and producer, real name Michael Dodman, made his debut in Australia last year after experiencing success under his Huxley moniker. Making the switch from tech house to more garage-influenced sounds, the UK producer has released records on labels like Tsuba and Hypercolour, as well as his own Saints & Sonnets imprint. Recently Dodman has been in the studio with Sam Russo preparing a 12-inch for Craig Richards' The Nothing Special imprint. While his last trip south only included shows in two cities, this visit will see the Brit play six gigs. His tour begins on February 22nd at Melbourne's Prince Bandroom where he will share the bill with Berlin mainstay Dixon and Israeli jock Guy Gerber. The following night, Dodman will play a Next Hype party at Gilkison's Dance Studio in Perth alongside techno youngster Blawan, before heading up to Brisbane on the 24th for a Sunday afternoon party at Sky Room. He makes a stop at Sugar in Adelaide on February 28th, then flies to Auckland on March 1st for a Cosmic Marmalade party at a location yet to be disclosed. The final show will be at Sydney's Chinese Laundry on Saturday the 2nd. Tickets to the Melbourne show can be purchased here on RA.
