  • Mutual Dreaming will throw two parties in February and March. The Brooklyn event series has a focus on experimental dance music artists, with an audiovisual element provided by promoter Aurora Hala. The next Mutual Dreaming party will take place at the usual spot, 285 Kent, on February 8th, headlined by James T Cotton. JTC is a prolific artist with many aliases, including his hip-hop moniker Dabrye, and the show will double as a release party for his latest EP, People Mover. He'll be supported by live sets from Entro Seneste and Bookworms, best known for his "African Rhythms" track released on L.I.E.S. last year. The second gig will take place March 1st, also at 285 Kent. This time, Detroit DJ and producer Andrés—whose "New For U" was our number one track of 2012—will headline, backed by NYC resident Anthony Naples. 100% Silk affiliate Magic Touch will play live, and there will be a DJ set from a secret "special guest" as well. Tickets for the JTC party are available here, while those for the Andres party can be purchased here.
