  • Niall Mannion AKA Mano Le Tough will visit Australia for the first time next month for shows in Melbourne and Sydney. The Irish-born, Berlin-based artist has made significant progress since his production debut back in 2009 on Prins Thomas' Internasjonal imprint. After a number of 12-inch releases on labels like Buzzin' Fly and Dirt Crew, last year was particularly fruitful for Mannion, both in the studio and behind the decks. His penchant for warm melodic house grooves led him to release "Mountains" on Munich label Permanent Vacation, while he found himself regularly appearing at clubs like Robert Johnson and Panorama Bar. Mannion's debut full length, Changing Days, is due for release on February 22nd through Permanent Vacation. Just over a week later, the Irish expat will arrive in Melbourne to play at Revolver Upstairs on March 1st with support from Mike Callander, Monty and a number of others. The following evening, the night of Mardi Gras, he heads up to Sydney to play a party at The Abercrombie Hotel co-hosted by Picnic and Strange Fruit. The gig begins at 2:00PM across two rooms and features a host of local acts like Ben Korbel, Phil Smart and Slow-Blow playing through until 5:00AM. Tickets to the Sydney show can be purchased here on RA.
