Kompakt will release Kompakt 20 Jahre Kollektion in March.Michael Mayer and Wolfgang Voigt , Kompakt has since developed into a formidable empire encompassing a record label and distribution wing, with a back catalogue spanning around 500 releases. Kompakt 20 Jahre Kollektion will be the first in a series of compilations, and the tracklist features a range of well-known material, back catalogue oddities and newer tracks from label stalwarts Matias Aguayo , Justus Kohncke , The Field , Superpitcher , John Tejada , Gui Boratto and Mayer, among others. The compilation forms part of a year of 20th anniversary celebrations that will also see a European tour, several artist albums and a short documentary.
