  • Acid house and pop aficionado Johannes Auvinen, AKA Tin Man, will play live in Brooklyn and Detroit this weekend. Auvinen is living in Brooklyn at the moment, though he considers Vienna his home. He played a handful of Tin Man gigs across the US late last year, and he's got two more confirmed before he heads back across the Atlantic at the end of March. First up is another night with The Bunker at Public Assembly in Brooklyn on Friday, March 1st. Tin Man is billed in the venue's back room along with Fred P and resident Eric Cloutier, who will be playing his last DJ set in New York before relocating to Berlin. Madteo, Professor Genius and London's Oscillate Wildly DJs (Russell Smith and John Montoya) will play the front room. Tin Man will then make his Detroit debut at an Interdimensional Transmissions party at 1515 Broadway called Come Feel The Acid. That one is set to stretch into the early hours of March 3rd, or 3/03, which brings to mind the influential, acid-spouting TB-303 synthesizer. IT's Carlos Souffront and BMG complete the party's lineup.
