The electronic music and arts festival is bringing artists like Evian Christ and Sinjin Hawke to Bucharest this April.
The latest edition of Rokolectiv, an electronic music and arts festival, will run in Bucharest from April 17th through 21st.
The festival has become a yearly springtime fixture in the Romanian capital, with the National Museum of Contemporary Arts serving as its home base. As usual, Rokolectiv showcases electronic artists from across the stylistic spectrum, with an emphasis on acts who pair well with the festival's museum backdrop. Nonplace boss Burnt Friedman and frequent collaborator Jaki Liebezeit will head up the opening night showcase at Modern, along with Kuedo featuring MFO and Romanian artist Coughly. John Talabot is at the top of the bill for the next two days, with Tri Angle artists Holy Other and Evian Christ, New York's MikeQ, Sinjin Hawke and more on the bill. The festival finishes up with an afterparty at Modern, which kicks off at 6:00AM on the Sunday. The lineup for the afterparty is yet to be confirmed.
