  • Ian Pooley will visit Australia this Easter weekend to play shows in three cities. The Mainz-born producer has covered a vast amount of ground over his two-decade career, with both Brazilian and American influences permeating through his extensive discography. A shift away from the Brazilian style coincided with his migration to Berlin a number of years ago, with Pooley gravitating towards more contemporary house music. He released his 11th full length studio work, What I do, in January on his own Pooledmusic imprint, while the past six months have also seen a 12-inch on Innervisions and a collaboration with Spencer Parker on Ovum Recordings. Pooley's return to the country will begin with a boat party in Adelaide on March 29th. Local promoters TechnoPhonics and The House Cats will team up for the show, which will be held on the Port Princess from 4:30 PM, with an afterparty taking place at Cuckoo Bar. He then heads to Sydney for a Mile High Club gig at Goldfish on March 30th, then plays S.A.S.H at The Abercrombie Hotel on the 31st along with Inxec and Wbeeza who will both perform live. That same night, Pooley flies down to Melbourne for a Fluidlife party at OneSixOne, supported by Dave Pham, Jason D'Costa and Brynley Cullen. Tickets to the Goldfish and OneSixOne shows can be purchased here on RA.
