The party this evening has been forced to undertake a last minute change of venue.
Tonight's Ostgut Ton x 50 Weapons event in London has been moved from Peckham Palais to the Coronet in Elephant & Castle.
According to a statement released by one of the party's promoters, Electric Minds, "[Peckham Palais] failed to submit the necessary paper work and as such Southwark police have pulled the event this morning, we found out from them at 11.30am." The upshot is that party, which has Marcel Fengler, Robert Hood, Function, Shed and Addison Groove among others scheduled to perform, will now be staged at the Coronet. The separate Ostgut and 50 Weapons rooms will now be merged into a single space.
The statement, which also includes revised set times, goes on to say: "It goes without saying that we are absolutely devastated as for all of our events we double check everything to make sure we are within the law, even going as far as making sure the venue do the same but there are some areas we do not have control over and in this case we had to put all our faith in the venue doing all that was necessary—suffice to say, they did not."
