- One half of Juju & Jordash will launch his own label in June.
Jordan Czamanski has revealed details of his new label, Off Minor.
Czamanski is best known for his work alongside Gal Aner as Juju & Jordash. (Their most recent LP, Techno Primitivism, was described by RA's Kristan J Caryl as "orgy of acid, oriental, country, rock and so much more.") The new label will initially release his solo recordings as Jordan GCZ, as well as his work as Magic Mountain High with Aner and David Moufang (AKA Move D). "We have a ton of Magic Mountain High material... and we don't want to release that stuff on any other 'outside' label except Workshop, so I'm going to put some MMH material out between Workshop releases," Czamanski explained.
The label's first record will be a 12-inch from Jordan GCZ—Czamanski's first release under that name—called Crybaby J's Theme. It's due out in June, and will be followed by a Magic Mountain High 12-inch. For a taste of what to expect, head over to the Off Minor SoundCloud page to hear a snippet of "Crybaby J's Theme."
