  • Pearson Sound will release a new four-track EP called REM on May 13th. The EP will arrive as a follow-up to 2012's Untitled/Footloose 12-inch on David Kennedy's own Pearson Sound label. Despite the misleading PEARS24 catalogue number, this will be only the second single to come out on the eponymous imprint. Keen-eared listeners of the Hessle Audio show on Rinse FM will have already been privy to excerpts from the release, which has also received recent radio love from the likes of Benji B and Gilles Peterson. REM is his first solo outing since last September's Clutch EP, whose title track was described by RA's Andrew Ryce as "Kennedy's sparsest work yet." A preview of the EP is currently available to stream via SoundCloud, and you can catch the UK auteur's recent addition to the RA Podcast series here. Tracklist 01. REM 02. Gridlock 03. Figment 04. Crimson (Beat Ritual Mix) Pearson Sound will release REM via Pearson Sound on May 13th, 2013.
