Footwork producer Traxman was robbed and shot in Chicago on Tuesday, May 28th.
Real name Cornelius Ferguson, the Dance Mania and Planet Mu-affiliated artist was shot in the leg during the robbery, which took place while he was walking to a local store in West Chicago. He also had his passport and $250 in gig money taken from him. As FACT report, Planet Mu label manager Thomas Quaye has set up a fundraiser to help the producer reclaim his lost money and pay for a new passport. Quaye said Ferguson was "in good spirits and on the mend." With the $500 target already eclipsed, any extra money raised will go directly to Ferguson.
