- Lee Burridge's party will begin its next summer season this month.
Lee Burridge has announced the 2013 season openers for his All Day I Dream parties, taking place on June 9th and 16th.
The daytime parties have been happening once a month each summer for a few years now, partly inspired by Burridge's experiences at Burning Man. Always featuring extended sets from the man himself, the parties allow Burridge an opportunity to stretch out and play records he might not normally be able to get away with in a nightclub setting. The concept also spawned a record label back in 2011.
This year, each coast will have its own resident in addition to Burridge: Mike Khoury in NYC, and Hoj in LA. The New York parties, returning to last year's home The Well in Brooklyn, will launch on the 9th, while LA will start a week later on the 16th. This time, the California version will move to a new location at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch about 35 miles out of the city, which Burridge himself describes as "Burning Man on a lawn."
