- Rekids will release a compilation of 21 tracks from the UK techno veteran's 14-year career next month.
Retrospective, a compilation of tracks by Mr. G, will see release this July.
The producer born Colin McBean, recording under his Mr. G alias and a host of pseudonyms like Mango Boy and Halcyon Daze, has been releasing music at a fast clip since around 2000. Though he owns his own label, the prolific Phoenix G, his home base since 2006 has been Rekids, where he's released two albums and a handful of EPs. They're taking on the Retrospective project, which features 21 tracks produced over the last 14 years and culled from a multitude of labels. Fans will also find a few unreleased cuts sprinkled in.
