- Belgian festival TomorrowLand will hit the US for the first time in September.
- The first TomorrowWorld festival will take place in the Chattahoochee Hills in Georgia from September 27th through 29th. TomorrowWorld is the new offshoot of TomorrowLand, the large-scale Belgian festival that's been happening every year just outside of Antwerp since 2005. This will be their first move into the US, and like its parent event, TomorrowWorld brings together mainstream artists and underground names. Happening an hour outside Atlanta, the DreamVille campsite will hold more than 30,000 revelers and seven different stages, and will be equipped with food courts, a daily newspaper and even laundry facilities. TomorrowWorld proper will be preceded by a party at DreamVille the night before called The Gathering, though details of that event are yet to be announced. Headliners include heavy-hitters like Tiesto, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and Afrojack (who will be presenting a new collaboration under the Afroki banner). Among the more underground names are Art Department, RL Grime, Damian Lazarus, Lee Foss, Jacques Renault and Justin Martin. There's also a strong dubstep and drum & bass contingent in addition to all the house, techno and trance, with more acts to be revealed in the lead-up to the festival.
