- Its first release, from the founder himself and featuring Dejan, is due out in a few weeks.
Mark Henning is starting up a new label called Swing Recordings.
Since the mid-'00s, the Berlin-based purveyor of minimal techno and house has produced records for labels like Soma (which released his debut album Jupiter Jive back in 2008), Cityfox and Hypercolour, to name a few—and now he's preparing to stretch out with his own imprint.
Swing's first release, simply titled SW01, is a four-tracker from Henning himself. Two tracks will feature fellow Cityfox affiliate Dejan. The EP will come out on vinyl around the end of August, with a digital version to follow a month or so later. You can try out samples of the record over at Henning's SoundCloud page.
