- The UK producer will release a mini-LP as part of Rush Hour's No 'Label' series in September.
DMX Krew will drop a new collection called Reith Tracks in late September.
UK producer Edward Upton has used this particular alias—one of many—for his more electro-oriented material. Within that sphere he's explored everything from breaks to synth-pop, releasing work for esteemed labels like Rephlex and Legowelt's Strange Life. Reith Tracks is the first DMX Krew release on Rush Hour, and it comprises eight tracks described by the label as "emotive and often destructive," recorded last summer at a farm in the Austrian town of Reith. It follows on from EPs for WéMè and Central Processing Unit earlier this year, plus a string of releases as EDMX (including a forthcoming full-length).
You can hear clips of the release over at SoundCloud.
