Ibiza superclub Space will open a new club in Moscow later this year.
Space Moscow will follow similar satellite clubs in Egypt, Brazil and Menorca in Spain, while plans for additional venues in New York and Dubai are also in the works. The three-level, 3500-capacity club will be located near the International Trade Center in the city's centre, and will be equipped with 18 bars, a main terrace, a VIP terrace and Funktion One sound.
The news comes as a number of high-profile clubs—including Berlin's Berghain/Panorama Bar, Output in New York and Paris's Rex Club—revealed plans to host Protest Diversity parties in opposition to Russia's new anti-gay propaganda law.
