The new series will start this Sunday afternoon, with Midland and Mano Le Tough confirmed later in the month.
NYC house DJ MANIK will fly to Los Angeles to headline the launch of a new series called Anonymous Love this Sunday.
Anonymous Love is a collaborative effort between local outfit Plastic Love, the Denver-based AfterHours Anonymous and longtime Scottish promoter and current LA resident Paul Cunningham. It'll initially set up shop at Sadie (a reopened spot previously known as Les Deux) in Hollywood, which boasts an outdoor area with a retractable roof. The promoters are calling it a "Sunday afternoon house affair"—though plans for other dates and other venues are in the works—and first headliner MANIK should fit right into the program. Plastic Love residents Jimmy Maheras and Bas, along with Cooper Saver from Far Away, will handle local support for the party, which will run from 1 to 8 PM.
The second edition of Anonymous Love has also been announced. Set to take place at Sadie on Sunday the 29th, that one will play host to the LA debuts of Berlin-based DJ and Permanent Vacation artist Mano Le Tough along with Midland, the UK favorite who recently put out the first record on his new label Graded. Heidi and Russ Yallop are confirmed for future appearances as well.
Tickets to both the launch event and the party on the 29th are available on RA.
